"I sought out Marc Evans as a triathlon coach after several years of running injuries attributed to poor form and technique.  Working with Marc gave me the advantage of having a coach who knew what I needed regarding technique and coupling that with a training plan designed to meet my competitive goals.

During my 5 years training with Marc I set a marathon PR by 40 minutes and improved my Ironman PR by 1.5 hrs.  We accomplished this mostly due to Marc's diligent attention to the detail of my form and technique melded with a training plan that optimized my strengths and improved on my weaknesses."

Cycling & Running: 2nd in age group for 10k trail run; 11th overall for 10k trail run; 9th overall in 25k trail run; 2nd for age group in 25k trail run; two Markleeville Death Rides completed; 3 Hood to Coast events completed: placed 6th for masters group

"I first met Marc when I joined a winter cycling technique and interval spin class. We did dry land training in addition to the spin class, and I enjoyed the class so I signed up for the summer and fall run classes. The combination of the run and spin classes increased my speed, endurance, overall fitness, and skills and I started to compete in local trail running events, and to ride in longer cycling events.

Working out with Marc, I learned a tremendous amount about proper form, expectations, and learned how to push through some boundaries. My ability to be at the front of the pack, both in cycling and running, increased my appreciation for what Marc saw in me, and how he supported me in extending and exceeding my goals.

His attention to the minute details that revolve around physical well being, and encouraging me to think in a bigger picture of what I can do, has made my exercise experience vastly more enjoyable and rewarding."

"Marc is an excellent coach, advisor and expert. He has a vastly different approach to s/b/running dynamics, functional efficiency, and effective form, focusing less on watts, pace and other numerical values, but instead Marc gets back to basics by reinforcing the idea that an athlete can only go as fast as their form will allow.

Marc spent a great deal of care and quality time analyzing my form in all three disciplines, pinpointing specific areas that could use improvement and outlining an action plan for getting better at those areas. Marc documents and records all his findings and makes that available online immediately after the session -- very valuable."
